Established in 2011, KRSD works in partnership with Federal Road Safety Commission and local and international organisations around the world to improve road safety through the intervention drive of the Foundation which centered on these four areas: (1) Advocacy (2) Education & Training (3) Victims Support (4) Road Safety Research. To meet the road safety targets set out in the Sustainable Development Goals, the strategy, which is based on Safe System Approach, KRSD focuses on Pillar 4; Road Users Behaviour and Pillar 5: Post Crash Response of the UN Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety.

Advocacy – Push for the enforcement of road traffic standards and laws.

Targeted education and training – Tailored road safety education and training programs for school children and motorists

Victims support – Provision of cash and relief materials to the crash victims. Trauma management and victims compensation advocacy

Research and data evaluation – Evidence for programs, policy change, and best road safety practices
