FRSC/KRSD ROAD SAFETY ESSAY COMPETITION 2019
KRSD Trust Fund is an indigenous NGO that advocates for road safety, it was founded in September 2011 by Hon. Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem JCA PJ LB+ following the demise of her son Kwapda’as Rangnaan Samson Dongban in a road crash in Jos, Plateau State.
Every year, we organise a nationwide Road Safety Essay Competition for serving Youth Corpers (who are not passing out before 30th September) in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC). Winners of the competition are awarded cash prizes and certificates during our Annual Conference which comes up every 9th month (September) of the year.

SPEAK UP FOR ROAD SAFETY: Panacea for Road Traffic Deaths and Serious Injuries
Essays will be evaluated by a panel of experts from the FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY COMMISSION FRSC according to the criteria and point system outlined below.
Comprehension: How well does the essay reflect a thorough understanding of the topic?
Organization: Does the essay follow a logical and easily understood progression?
Creativity: Were diverse resources and ideas used to develop the topic?
Conclusions: Do the conclusions follow logically from the argument? Are the conclusions compelling?
All essays should be submitted in English using comic san (size 14) font with double spacing. Essays must be a maximum of 1,500 words.
Your essay should contain your FULL NAME, UNIVERSITY NAME, COURSE OF STUDY, NYSC STATE CODE, EMAIL ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER
Essays that do not follow the above-mentioned specifications WILL NOT be considered.
